ARE YOU AN ORGANIZATION AND INTERESTED IN THE HOW WOMEN RISE PROGRAM TO ACCELERATE YOUR FEMALE WORKFORCE?
About How women rise
Sally’s most recent book, How Women Rise (HWR), co-authored with legendary executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, examines the behaviors most likely to get in the way of successful women as they seek to move to a higher level. It became the top-seller in its field within a week of publication and rights have been sold in 12 languages.
Based on the 12 habits of Sally Helgesen best-selling book ‘How Women Rise’ co-authored with the worlds leading executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, it is possible to bring the learnings of the book right to your organization. HWR aims to accelerate women in the workplace through expanding their self awareness and coming up with strategies to overcome the habits that are holding them back from more success.
Sally Helgesen, cited in Forbes as the world’s premier expert on women’s leadership, is a best-selling author, speaker and leadership coach. For 30 years her mission has been to help women recognize, articulate and act on their greatest strengths and help organizations build more inclusive cultures.
Women in workplaces across the globe have unique development needs when it comes to navigating their way through their careers. Having reached a certain point in their careers on autopilot, operating in the way that has served their career success to date may not serve their career success moving forward. It is important to take some time to reflect on their experience so far, understand themselves on a deeper level and pivot in the behaviours and habits that will orient them towards more future success.
This requirement is not unique to women and yet the numbers speak for themselves. With more women than men graduating from university and less women than men in leadership roles, there is a band in the middle where women need unique support.
At TAG, we notice when coaching current and future female leaders there are often patterns of behavior that keep women stuck in a certain point of their career which causes them a lot of dissatisfaction and frustration and can even diminish their confidence levels because they don’t understand where they are going wrong and what they can do differently. Through the executive coaching journey, TAG recommends a wide variety of resources and this one has always stood out because it landed so well with the women we were coaching. The book by Sally Helgesen, How Women Rise, which outlines the 12 habits that hold women back from their next raise, promotion or job provides very practical and concrete content that professional women readily resonate with.
TAG could see the impact this knowledge was having on the women they were coaching and set out to team up with Sally Helgesen through the belief that there was so much more impact that raising wider awareness of these 12 habits could create across organizations. TAG and Sally have worked together to create the How Women Rise Program to women rise at work and in business across the globe.”

Take the survey and enter your email address and we will share the results with you.
The HWR workshop is run over half a day for a group of up to 24 people.
Participants explore the 12 habits through the habit clusters. Leveraging from the wisdom in the room and the combined personal experience participants engage in a thought provoking, interactive and action oriented 4 hours where they will come away with a deeper level of self-awareness as well as solutions and strategies to overcome the habits.
HWR Bespoke workshops
Perhaps your organisation or team has one of a few of the habits that are more prominent than others.
TAG designs bespoke HWR workshops that do a deeper dive into a particular habit or cluster of habits that your staff need to rise above.
HWR Train the Trainer
Participants build on the prior learning of the HWR workshop to become a certified HWR trainer and become an even bigger part of the solution.
HWR trainers are equipped to pay the HWR program forward through scaling it’s impact and reach to many. Ideal for organisations who would like the program to reach as groups as possible or for coaches and trainers who would like to use the HWR methodology and tools in their own coaching, mentoring or learning and development initiatives.
